Hi

I’m Ash.

I’m a psychotherapist working with children, young people, and families across West London and Dorset (BPC). My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within relationships — where safety, reflection, and connection allow growth to take root.

This website introduces ASKR Therapy — my practice dedicated to making therapy accessible, meaningful, and responsive to the realities of everyday life. Here you’ll find information about my approach, the services I offer, and the values that guide my work.

My Story

My story is one of roots, connection, and growth.

The experiences that shaped me — personally and professionally — taught me that growth takes place in relationships, and that healing begins when we feel understood and held.

I grew up between cultures — East and West — learning early the importance of connection, adaptability, and understanding. Those experiences shaped my belief that resilience develops when we feel seen, held, and supported.

Over the years, I’ve worked across schools, communities, and clinical settings, developing an approach that blends psychodynamic depth with relational, trauma-informed practice. ASKR Therapy grew from this work — a living expression of the belief that safety, reflection, and relationships can help us move toward balance and renewal.

The Meaning of ASKR

Askr is the Old Norse word for ash tree — a symbol of strength, adaptability, and connection. These are the same qualities that lie at the heart of therapeutic change.

Our work begins at the roots — with safety and trust; the foundations of containment and growth. The trunk embodies resilience — the capacity to bend without breaking. The branches, reaching outward, reflect the live and evolving nature of the therapeutic process — a continual movement toward creativity, connection, and possibility.

Therapy, at its core, is a process of integration: grounding ourselves in what holds us while reaching towards what’s possible.

Rooted in safety, resilient in growth, grounded in relationship.
